Dammit, stop with the they should call it stuff!

First of all there is still a statistical possibility this doesn't work out for Joe, however small, it's there and it's 2020.

Second, in John Kings words, let them count the damn vote!

Knock it off. The more solid votes we get the stronger the public perception of a win. On the outside chance they do a Dewey Defeats Truman by calling it and something nuts happens it will do nothing but reinforce the crazies allegations that our election system is falsely fucked. And probably destroy our vote forever. There's too much at stake to even take a 1% chance of being wrong.

There is more pro than con in the Dems’ being patient. One said is saying “all votes should count, etc.” and the other is busy claiming victory falsely, lying, and filing a zillion lawsuits to stop counting. The Dems win the PR war.

defuse the fraudulent claims being made by the orange dime store Mussolini. Not enough for it to be nearly mathematically impossible for him to win. It has to be. And it has to be transparent. Part of the beginning of the rebuilding process.

It is a mistake that being extraordinarily cautious will give any more credibility to the result in the eyes of Trumpists.

It is much more important to the health of the country to be politically clear NOW to the country (after three days of careful vote counting) that Biden won this election. Waiting longer and longer, looking for outlandish ways Trump could win, is doing more damage to the nation than biting the bullet and announcing the truth.

They spend segments explaining how it’s impossible for Biden not to gain tens of thousands of more votes from mail in and provisionals in PA. And then they say it’s too close to call after they just explained it’s not

The provisionals in PA aren't all mail in's. Trump is exceeding his average needed in AZ. There are more than enough Military ballots to lose GA.

Joe goes up by 50k in PA I'd call it if I was AP. I think thats the threshold.

Say what you want. The call is all PR and that's what makes it important this time around. Comparing this to how they call in other elections is ridiculous. The rush to annihilate and brag is the tactic of the opposition. I've always believed rope a dope these fuckers then knock them out.

They call races before all the vote is in based on overwhelming statistical probabilities. Thats their fucking job. Its not a mystery how the rest of the vote is going to go.
