Aides Say Trump Has No Legal Strategy
November 7, 2020 at 7:01 am EST By Taegan Goddard

Wall Street Journal: “Some advisers have privately said they see little path forward, politically or legally, that would prevent Mr. Trump from becoming the first president to lose reelection since 1992.”

“Among the president’s advisers, finger-pointing over the campaign’s legal strategy has intensified in recent days, White House and campaign aides said. Aides have expressed acute frustration over what many see as a slapdash legal effort, complaining that—even though Mr. Trump spent months telegraphing his intent to fight the election outcome in the courts—there wasn’t enough planning ahead of Election Day and has been little follow-through on decisions made this week. For days after the election, advisers said they didn’t know who was in charge of the strategy.”

Throughout Trump's life he clamors for lawyers to do his work for him and fight his battles. But there is simply nothing accurate for a lawyer to do if no law has been broken. What could his lawyers have been doing all these months if there's truly nothing illegal to find? All they are at this point are glorified babysitters placating Trump.

If Trumplestiltskin is broke, how can he pay them? He is notorious for stiffing those who do work for him.

That is the legal strategy, to "just say" that mail in ballots are ripe with fraud. He really thinks that a 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court means he can say anything and automatically win 6-3.

he has used his money to sue others who can't afford to keep up in courts. This time his I will sue you won't work, they are prepared with an army of attorneys and the cash to pay for them. A big difference to his normal take on a small time contractor. Remember he does not win in court, he just drains the finances of those who sue him to accept pennies on the dollar.

...to find an activist judge, or justices to manufacture opinions falsely for him to reject the American people's legitimate legal votes (Democrats) , and rights to have their votes counted, or he says whose votes count, and whose votes don't count. Which would give him absolute power, which he'd use to undermine all other branches of government. He's abusing his position and power to corrupt Democracy here.

Barratry
Common law
Barratry is a legal term with several meanings. In common law, barratry is the offense committed by people who are "overly officious in instigating or encouraging prosecution of groundless litigation" or who bring "repeated or persistent acts of litigation" for the purposes of profit or harassment. Wikipedia

Dotard's lawyers should be hit with Rule 11. The point is not to win the lawsuits, but to create doubt and confusion.

When the law does not support your effort.

Too common a view - that the law is there to get you what you want. Or the courts can be manipulated to your own personal ends. He must be a nightmare client.

Just bombard them with lawsuits until they just get tired of them, and give up. Basically, a lawsuit Gish-gallop. Ain't gonna work this time.
