I'm crying with him. Time to bring back civility in this country. I just truly hope that DU'ers stop posting threads about what Trump says or Trump tweets, etc. after he's gone. I seriously think he needs to be ignored. We've been abused by him way too much. We can't heal until we move on to the important things.

9. It's true

For me, when I see anything about that despicable piece of garbage, I just ignore it. That in itself is a HUGE relief-- for the last four years I've winced/cried/despaired every time he opened his mouth because the news was always so discouraging. Now, I feel so FREE, We've been shackled for so long and, for the first time since 2016, I feel genuine hope and gratitude and I still haven't really slept for days but who cares now????

Probably won't be able to sleep much tonight either. I'm wallowing in this moment. I have spent almost four years not watching TV news or muting the TV, coming to DU where I can find what I need to know. Now I don't have to be afraid to turn on the TV news with my morning coffee.

As someone else said before me, I'm tired of his constant abuse.
