(53,743 posts)if Hitler hadn't made a couple of huge mistakes. He of course thought he knew more than the generals (where have we heard that before?), and waited too long to invade Russia and got caught in the brutal Russian winter with his troops not equiped for winter warfare.
Secondly he also diverted a good part of his force south to capture Russian oil fields.
Hitler, like trump, wasn't as smart as he thought. He also halted the nazis at Dunkirk when they could've easily captured the whole British army and the war would've been over. When he halted his forces, the Brits were able to marshal every ship, boat or whatever craft that could cross the Channel and their army escaped Hitler's blunder.
