The piece of garbage fired Esper in a tweet. Anyone who has read the Woodward book

realizes this is the typical subhuman behavior of trump. He treated tillerson, kelly, and mattis with similar disrespect

The jackass is an animal, doing this out of pure revenge

Anyone who has been part of this administration, who crosses the asshole will pay a price

His anger with Esper is because Esper refused to use the military to put down the BLM movement

This is an extremely dangerous situation

and where are the f**king republicans to stop the madman

where this will end up. Yes, he is no longer going to be able to play president after January 20, 2021, so he is going to get rid of the people that are trying to hold this country together. Esper, Wray, Fauci. I know there's more, but you get the idea. His mind is win or lose and no in between. If he can't "run" the country for four more years, then screw all of us. If Fauci isn't person of the year, then it should go to all the medical people as one. Drump should go wherever he wants to go knowing that more than likely, his empire will have liens on it from the State of New York.

Fauci is the only one of the group that has kept those of us who are sane, sane. I have a feeling though that Drump isn't through with his firings. I think this may go deeper. CIA, FBI, even Barr.

with the man he wants to fire. It isn't like a TV reality show so he doesn't have a script, can't remember his lines and he tries to hide his ineptitude behind a tweet.

Loser.

I said that in another thread here.

He’s now the most unstable he’s ever been, and he will have no problem with burning it all down because he lost.

Trump treats everyone like garbage at some point. But doing it now for no good reason other than he’s a sore loser is just too damn dangerous during a transition.

I know...it’ll never happen. So they are just as complicit in what could be coming as is Trump.

focused on keeping Republican control of the senate, and his own power. All decisions will be made with the purpose of keeping the 2 seats in danger in GA.

Frankly, I doubt McConnell would be greatly concerned about repercussions against executive branch functionaries in most cases anyway. Or protection of democracy at all -- except as it affects his power. I've come to believe he's merely a more competent sociopath than Trump.

I'm glad Esper did his simple duty and protected himself from enormously serious charges by refusing to use military power against civilians, but it's not as if he didn't know coming in that Trump was entirely unprincipled and viciously vindictive. He had to have expected this and also been looking to his post-Trump future all along.

Not the first potentially dangerous post-election purge and won't be the last. I'm already buckled up, and currently with drink in hand drunk down so it won't slosh easily.
