105,142 new COVID cases, according to the CDC...

This is especially significant because their Monday and Tuesday dumps are always considerably lower than those for the rest of the week. Today's is 22% higher than the same figure for last Monday, which was 35% higher than the week before that...

Glad we're going to be getting a better national strategy than "herd mentality" come late January -- but I suspect the time between now and then is going to be dire indeed.
