Trump has lost Pennsylvania by tens of thousands of votes even if you don’t count a single ballot that arrived in the three days after Election Day (even though those ballots were permitted by the state Supreme Court).

8. I don't think he's talking about winning it that way

I think he's talking about tying it up with recount and then the courts.
Forcing it to be unresolved - uncertifiable.
Which will allow the Republican legislatures to anoint him with the electoral votes.

He's been tying up folks trying to prevent them from getting anything from him through the legal process throughout his presidency. He doesn't need a decision in the courts just like all his other cases. He needs to defer the decision into the next term. That will hand the decision for PA and other battleground states to the Republican state legislatures.

Biden seems to be trying to take the high road and not engage.
I'm sure his people have debated the issue. But that might be a mistake. The clock is ticking.

I think that is how they're going to steal it - muddy it up so bad and drag it out in the courts and process so that a clear cut timely decision cannot be made in time. Then the legislature "has to step in" (because Trump forced it that way).

Look at what he's done with the IRS. Look at what he did with Mueller. Look at what he's done with EJ Carroll. All kinds of games to prevent a timely legal decision being made or enforced against him.

You don't think McConnell would back him on this? It's as sure as the sun rising McConnell would be in to doing this. 11 State GOP AG's have joined them. Pompeo today.

They're going to tie all the states they want up in the courts and have the GOP state legislators in WI, PA, GA, AZ and even maybe MI award them with the Electoral votes for those states - while claiming "they just want to make sure legal votes count". If the actual votes from these states eventually see the light of day, like Al Gore's did in FL, it's too late. Trump would still be President.

"Safe Harbor" date for Electors is Dec 8th - less than a month from now. It doesn't take much to drag stuff out in court for more than a month. They probably have some late claims hiding in the weeds to be popped out at the last possible moment.

To help protect himself, he's disposing of those running the military to tighten his grip on controlling that. He's not being vindictive. He's protecting himself by tightening his grip on controlling key departments in case there is trouble.

If they can mess up the Electoral college, the House decides the issue but the GOP will win that because it's done on a one vote per state basis and the GOP control more states in the House.

They claim now that it's a long shot. But they wouldn't be doing it if they didn't think they had a fair shot at pulling it off.

That is what I fear is happening.

9. That isn't how it works

If a state's electors aren't certified, then they don't count towards a majority. Unless it ends up tied, it won't go to the House.

10. That's not how I understand it

If the candidate does not receive an absolute majority (270 or more electoral votes), then it goes to Congress and the House.

PA and one other state could say "there is fighting going on in court so we cannot decide who should get the votes - therefore, we decline to send any Electors"

Joe would then fail to get 270 and the House would decide it.
