(from February) Vermont governor will appt an independent to replace Bernie if

Bernie moves up. This is from a few months back but the gist is the gov would replace bernie with an independent if bernie gave up his seat. From the article:

Under Vermont law, the governor has six months from the date a vacancy occurs to hold a special election. The winner would complete Sanders' term, which expires in January 2025. The governor is also empowered to appoint an interim senator to fill the post until the special election took place.

Complete loyalty to his Party & his philosophy.

An I behind their name means what definitively?
Who's the Gov got in mind?

Vermont has no Democrats?

Actually Dean would be a better pick than Sanders.

And he is out of office so no need for replacements.

But still not seeing Sanders as a good fit for Sec Labor.

I have yet to see his record or creds necessary to hold such a position as Sec of Labor.

There are others who come with a packed resume for success in this job.
