If a person attends a official meeting in Florida, the person has to empty pockets and put his or her cellphone into a container to be scanned (to insure it is not a bomb). No guns allowed unless on police officers, who I assume must show their ID to prove they are authentic.

Florida is a gun nut state, but a person other than a cop or registered security guard had better not be caught open carrying. People certainly won’t enter into government buildings with guns.
