Does Trump realize he is the villain?

One thing, after all of these years that I can't quite figure out with Trump is how he perceives himself. Sure we have all of the weird bragging and issues with narcissism but at the end of the day, did Trump think he was really good at being president or was it all an intentional con job? In Trump's mind, is he thinking "what a great President I am. People love me and I am doing a lot of good for this country" but he doesn't realize that he is in over his head. Or is he thinking "let's see how much money I get out of these rubes before the jig is up"? Does he know that he is a bad person and is he commiting all of these crimes on purpose or is he just so delusional and dumb that he doesn't even realize what a crooked failure he is?

They don't have core values or morality like most people. (most people being just over half of humans, maybe - I used to think it was a much larger percentage.)

They don't think everyone deserves being treated fairly, just their small groups.

They are tribal.

They think whatever the authoritarian says must be right.

I mean, I think it varies from person to person. but it's like a limited sociopathy.

Be good to some degree to whatever small tribe you like, everyone else can be treated with extreme evil.

Right and wrong for some are not the same as you and I think of those values.

Does he think what he does is the same thing as everyone else does? Is this cartoonish thuggery his honest belief about how leadership and politics work? I know his base believes this. What if he isn't manipulating them? What if they all share this twisted view?

He has said as much, except that he allows for Lincoln, in order to try and not be too over the top, but he doesn't mean it.

He is such a narcissist and has such an over-inflated ego and view of himself that he can not possibly consider himself anything BUT the best.....at everything!

8. Deep down Donny knows he's the villain...

He believes he had everyone conned into thinking that he was the hapless "good guy" who got treated so unfairly and harshly.

In his pea brain, America was too dumb to see through his trickery, like the rigged supreme court, the countless excuses for never disclosing his taxes, the lies about how great the economy was going, etc. etc. etc.

Donny sees America like his TV audience of slack-jawed idol-worshippers. Why did "the audience" turn its back on Donny???

9. I'm guessing that he knows there is something very wrong with him but he doesn't care one bit

about it, nor does he care about anything else. Mass shooting? He doesn't care one bit, not one iota. His sons are assholes? He doesn't give a rats ass about them. Traitor to his own country? That doesn't bother him at all.

He isn't that deep and seems to think that it's all an act, anyway and he can be a clown and a villain and it has nothing to do with REALITY....

As Robin Williams put it...Reality..What a Concept

In his mind, the only "good" things are things that are good for Trump. He doesn't care one bit about others.

People are jealous or out to get him, to do or say anything to bring him down because he is so wonderful and great, and people just want to see him fail.

He's the good guy, the one in the right, doing the right thing, in his mind.

Trump will admit to coming across as harsh to some people - but in his mind he's doing them a favor by being harsh. He's teaching them. He's making them, better. So how can that be a bad thing?

How can that make him wrong? Or a bad person?

So, no. Trump does not see himself as a villain.
