How bad are things in SD? VT with 600k people has had 2,600 Covid cases *ever*. SD with 800k people has 2,000 cases *today*.

It's an appalling number, but not as bad as what you're thinking.

In the 8th month of this, they're only running around 2,400 tests per day.
Yep, you read that right. 2,421 tests yesterday. By contrast, here in Illinois, we've had 97,500 tests per day, last 2 days.
40x the number of tests. Our population is around 14 times SD's. But 40x the tests.
Doesn't seem like they're trying that hard.

700,000 people.
Govenor approved sending Covid positive med staff to work anyway because they need them.

Basically, if you're sick with anything but Covid, Just Stay Home & fix it yourself.

Only the other Dakota is ahead of them in cases per million!
ND has 77,650 per million, SD has 68,630.
By contrast, Illinois, currently no great shakes with our numbers, is at 42,340. And California is at 25,480.

As I said in another post, getting Covid is the new way of pledging loyalty to Trump.
