in the context that we are always walking on egg shells mourn our aggressor. No matter what damage the GOP does Dems sue for peace and fairness.

The fact that "we go high", has no effect on their behavior. They view it as weak.

I don't agree with Joe on many things he says but I do think we behave this way. We have to be the ones to mend the fence when they trumpers bulldozed it over. There are to many examples to give. We do need to learn to get on the offensive with our messages. The Ossoff messages down here in Georgia they are winning with he's a socialist and attached to Nancy at the hip. I barely see any messages about the corrupt Loeffler and Perdue and all the things they've done.

His constructive criticism might be hard for some people here to take, but he certainly is on our side, not theirs.

It's also clear that he wants the Republican Party to die because he always goes on and on how they will suffer for the way they've been acting during the Trump administration.

hitting back. He is right about us winning the presidency but losing the the down ballot tickets. People voted against
Trump but things like de-fund the police and socialism aren't winners. People voted against Trump
but the Democrat Brand has been spoiled by one a socialist Bernie and another person in particular who I will not name.

They’re gonna try to convince us that we don’t really like Joe Biden. They will say we really wanted Obama, but since we couldn’t have him, we “settled” for Joe.

They are attempting to subvert his popularity, before he even takes office. I expect this tactic will be aimed squarely at black voters once we get really close to the runoff elections in Georgia.

Don’t let them. We got your six, Joe!

Textbook battered wife syndrome, and the GOP is the gleefully, gaslighting abuser. People don;t get how much Trump has rekindled PTSD for many of us who have been in abusive relationships. Especially that one rant he gave recently -- I shook for hours afterwards, and I'm not the only one.

claiming their viciously obedient spreading of a deadly virus makes them "freedom fighters."

Here's another, far more insightful way of comparing our tactics to the increasingly authoritarian GOP's. The data are for 2018, when over 600 international political scientists who study over 2000 political parties found:

“The Republican Party in the U.S. has retreated from upholding democratic norms in recent years,” said Anna Lührmann, a political scientist at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and a former member of the German parliament. “Its rhetoric is closer to authoritarian parties, such as AKP in Turkey and Fidesz in Hungary.” ... Lührmann points out that the Republican Party score started to edge downward during the Obama administration but fell off a cliff in 2016 with the ascent of Trump.

We know the GOP has become far more dangerous since. The 2020 report is not out yet, but analysis reportedly now rates the GOP's authoritarianism as extreme as Hungary's fascist party that, lead by Viktor Orban, destroyed democracy in that nation. Be sure to note the graphs for the fascistic tactics of viciously demonizing opponents and for inciting violence and violent thinking.

And in every one, note the Democrats' strong, unwavering blue line of commitment to democracy. Also note that WE are currently winning, as we have every decade since our nation was founded. "Battered wives" my democratically empowered ass!
