Why don't these states mandate masks to begin with? It seems to me that Maraya1969 Nov 2020 #5
NM has mandated that. But too many people flaunt it. Too difficult to strictly enforce. triron Nov 2020 #6

They issues a mask and social distancing order no stay at home order.

This order doesn’t require any business to close, but businesses and event hosts must require social distancing.

The order does not apply to churches.

It doesn’t require any schools to go online — despite a teachers union pushing for junior high and high schools to go virtual.

I thought the governor had lowered the boom on everything and everybody. I guess that's too much to ask for them.

But apparently those two fasts by the predominate church turned out really well /sarcasm. I'm just glad I no longer live there!

Maybe Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico will limit interstate travel from Arizona.

if everyone was wearing masks we wouldn't be in this frigging mess. And wearing masks is a lot easier than shutting everything down.

I agree masks in a bar are hard but perhaps they could serve drinks with the little straws and people could just move their masks to sip from glasses? That's what I do.

Unfortunately, we have a lot of red leaning folks here who bash her every chance they get. They cannot seem to understand that the better we are at decreasing the spread of this virus and saving lives, the sooner we can return to full economic activity. I can understand their concern about paying rent and getting food on the table. That is why Moscow Mitch is will go down in history as the reason people's lives and businesses were upended, and our nation took the economic hit we did. He did not cause this virus but his unwillingness to pass the Hero's Act is indefensible. Shame on him and every Republican enabler in the Senate.
