(52,152 posts)Millions of us can't have Thanksgiving with our families and are facing the same for Christmas. Whether it is because travel is out of the question or because we have fragile family members. I am unsure if I will be traveling north for Christmas or not. Since I can drive I at least don't have to worry about flying in a plane. But I have to weigh the fact I am in an occupation where I face the public and my brother and his wife don't work meaning I am more at risk than they are. Though she goes out fairly often and is less great about mask wearing than I am. I wouldn't dream of having an unnecessary dinner with a bunch of strangers. They should know and behave better.
