Consider this one small thing about Trump's time as president. Every time he goes golfing, his security detail has to follow him around the course. Trump makes the Secret Service rent golf carts from his club in order to protect him. Trump makes the Secret Service rent rooms at his clubs. Trump makes the Secret Service pay for food at his clubs. I have no idea how many agents are in his entourage but I'd guess it's like 10-15, maybe more. Think of how much money that costs, especially since Trump has golfed something like every 3 days of his term!

As an ex-president, Trump will have Secret Service protection for years to come. And we'll be paying for their damn golf carts. Trump's grift will continue on our dime. Trump's misuse of our money pisses me off.

But, once he's no longer president, he can't order the Secret Service to rent his golf carts; they can walk if they want. It's good exercise for them anyway. He won't be able to tell them to buy food at his club house; they can bring in a carry-out, pack their lunches, eat MRI, whatever they want. Their only obligation is to protect him.

At least he won't be taking AF1 or Marine-1 to get to the golf course.

6. Get pissed off? I've been pissed off for 4 years.

Seriously, even Trump deserves SS protection. Regardless what a low life scum he is and has been, there are persons, foreign and domestic, who would see an assassination or an attempt of a former President as a way to attack our country and cause even more divisions among us.

Having said that, he should only have the same level of protection that other former Presidents enjoy and protection for his spawn ends immediately.
