he claims it's a hoax and it will be all over soon, but in the same breath he claims a vaccine is soon coming.
if it's a hoax why the need for a vaccine?

(17,862 posts)If there is a very short window to vaccine availability, then it is a moral imperative to keep the number of transmissions to a minimum even sacrificing short term economic growth. I would assume that economists could also show that the lock down under those conditions would make long term economic sense even without putting an economic value on suffering and death.

(17,422 posts)The COVIDIOTS argue that the virus is just a bad flu. The "hoax" according to them is hospitals lying in order to get more money and liberal coroners lying on death certificates.
Any facts to the contrary are considered fake news.

(732 posts)The virus is real, so we need a vaccine, but (here is the tricky part), its not a deadly virus, it's just a flu. Just like a flu it will hurt the compromised, so we need a vaccine, just like we have our annual flu vaccine. Are there tons of holes in this, yes of course. It's not a flu, it does more damage than the average flu some of it potentially life long in otherwise healthy adults. Next up we don't have any immunity to this (mostly), unlike say the majority of flus where many of us already have a percentage of immunity from having a variant of that strain prior. Do I need to go on? Ultimate irony, these same people are the ones who never get the annual flu shot because they had one and got the flu that year, or they got sick directly after having one, more likely their uncles, neighbors in-laws told them that either of the above happened to them. It's circular flawed logic.
