Lawsuits that tried to disrupt Biden's wins in four states are withdrawn.
Time for Trump to call President Elect Biden.

(70,449 posts)Trump did his fuck Alaska ruling for the same reason he dug up Jackie Kennedy's rose garden.
He wanted to be a dick.

(70,449 posts)... went back over 100 years from former first ladies, they cut the drain tiles so they had to go back
in and redo their work in less than a month, and cut out crab trees that gave the garden vertical
elements and gave neat shadows on the walk way from the residency to the west wing. Melania
didn't give a shit about the garden Donny just did it to be a dick.

(115,610 posts)Concession is just a norm and a courtesy with no legal effect - and we all know that Trump doesn't do norms and courtesies. Biden will take office on 1/20/21 no matter how much Trump whines and rants.

(34,857 posts)Even when the votes are certified he won't concede.
Even when the Electoral College meets and votes Biden in, he's not going to concede.
He'll never accept the results.

(19,264 posts)Trump in 2022 will still be scamming his idiot followers out of their donations because Biden stole the 2020 election. The man absolutely will never stop unless he dies or someone puts him in prison.

(6,477 posts)to then request an emergency injunction to stop certification, which is Friday and Monday for most states.
They're basically going to refile these and then demand that a court block legal certification of the vote until the cases are adjudicated. If the courts refuse, they'll take that to the next court up.
They pulled today because the judges will take one look at these cases and throw them out, so they won't be able to delay the certification. It's a desperate tactic because the voluntary pulling of these cases means that they are not going to meet a timeliness criterion for a stay of certification (i.e., you had the opportunity to file these Monday, and in fact they were filed), so they might refile the same cases from different plaintiffs (the Trump campaign rather than these assortment of random voters supported by third party GOP flack organizations). The whole thing is childish (it's the legal equivalent of "I'm not touching you" ), and deeply unlikely to succeed, and even some conservative judges might view these shenanigans as contempt or sanctionable filings.
I thought some of Trump's lawyers from Porter Wright withdrew because they did not want to perjure

(6,477 posts)Trump has turned the whole mess over to Giuliani and the DeGenovas.
My post is just speculation, I should add.
