Ba-da-BING! bitchez-N.J. Gov Chris Christie Responds to Female Hecklers With Offensive Oral Sex Joke

(yeah, grabbed me too...)

N.J. Gov. Chris Christie Responds to Female Hecklers With Offensive Oral Sex Joke

On Sunday, Jan. 8., New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was speaking at a Romney for President rally in New Hampshire when he was interrupted by some female hecklers. It’s difficult to make out exactly what Christie’s critics were yelling, but it’s something to do with jobs going down. Ever the class act, Christie’s response: “You know, something may be going down tonight, but it ain’t going to be jobs, sweetheart.”

He gets personally offended when women even ask a question of him that may put him on the defensive. This isn't the first time he's made totally inappropriate comments to women.

they are grooming him to continue the trend of Nixon, Reagan, and GW Bush, to pioneer new lows of presiding.

But there is an edit in that tape. I'll have to see what was cut out before I pass total judgement.

Doing a James O'Keefe on him isn't the way to nail this guy. He's bad enough as it is.

Oh and he's full of shit about the jobs...

The expression, "something's going down" has been around for many decades and means "something's happening" or "something's going to happen."

He did not say, "someone" is going down.

For example, here the phrased is used in an article about cliques at school.

Gossips

"These are the know-alls of the school. If something’s going down, they’re the first to know about it. They have the low-down on everyone and everything."

My mind travelled to something like a drug deal going down....but then, the sweetheart reference made it a bit ambiguous.

Then again I'm a chick so I can usually get away with it.

Edit to clarify: women's voices often are perceived as less threatening, and women are often perceived as less threatening. When I get a "tone" you can tell sarcasm in the "sweetheart", but most girls are going to take it neutrally and most guys seem to take my "sweetie" as a positive thing instead of a negative. And I'm also a Southern chick... our accents make it really easy to cuss someone out without them even noticing.

Sure, "Something's goin' down" is a common phrase, but it just refers to a action or event.

"Jobs" in this sense, is used as a noun......his use of "Something's going down" would imply that another noun to replace it is going down.

But I honestly don't think he was implying anything particularly sexual -- he just meant a plain, ordinary insult. That's bad enough.

As for the other comment, I didn't know how to take it.

My bigger gripe is that he & Romney thought it was ok to joke about an issue that the majority of their constitutents are concerned about. That is what should be reported & is not.

this does define our humor (and yes, I find it funny), but this is also why someone from New Jersey will never be President. From either party.

Christie may be annoying as all hell, but saying he was implying anything sexual is the sort of idiocy we should rise above. It's very clear that he meant it just the way he said it. If you interpret it otherwise you're either intellectually dishonest or an idiot.

And from one of my favorite posters no less.... kpete. Well, even you can't win 'em all.
