When discussing Emily Murphy, it's worth mentioning that her explicit dereliction of duty at GSA allowed foreign governments to bribe the president (sorry, "stay at his hotel&quot without their spending being tracked by GSA.

Now ... why did she do that?

Consider her role in dealing with litigation, re: 'Emoluments' clause, some/much/all of which was related to $$$$ into/out of trump's DC property, like his 'hotel' which is 'leased,' I think, by trump, from the U.S. govt and/or DC THROUGH GSA.

AND the 'kerfuffle' about FBI building/re-building/moving it, into which trump stuck his nose. Emily may have more matters than are visible, with trump.

"The only thing I know is what I’ve read in the paper" - in what universe is this an excuse for not knowing about crucial aspects of your own job? This isn't a lack of curiosity; it's deliberately looking the other way.
