"... they are using tactics that we need to figure out, ... we were not expecting these losses.."

Rep. Debbie MuCarsel-Powell on MJ asking for the tactics in Miami Dade to be looked into.

She was speaking for the disinformation that spread QUICKLY through Miami Dade and it was not Defund the police or Socialism that was the ONLY factor and IMHO aren't even the main ones.

Sounds like the Republican party went in first and defined MuCarsel before she had a message out, that would make sense

But why didn't ANY polling in that area notice there was something wrong?

Rep. MuCarsel was VERY VERY VERY humble and willing to say that they could've knocked on more doors and admit that they could've anticipated earlier.

I pray the DNC gets with her and figures out what happened in Miami Dade and how Trump picked up 200,000 extra voters from the last 4 presidential races.

2. +1, and the polling companies need to be able to tell us the deltas. There's no way we should trust

... them from here on out if they have the data on what went wrong and are staying silent.

No other country has polling this horrible for this long tilted towards one party in outcome.

4. Yep. I wouldn't be surprised if there was other "help" involved, too.

Florida's government is corrupt to the core. I wouldn't put anything past Gov. Death Sentence and his toadies.

I was informed by a wonderful female Hispanic friend about how Joe (and others) want to kidnap Hispanic children for....bad stuff. This was all funded by Oprah. Some friends and I convinced her to vote Biden, but not to tell her intense Trumper husband. Yesterday, I met her and she said she was glad I had taken my Biden signs down because now that Trump won re-election, he might retaliate against me. They say it’s door to door, baloney, my friend would never answer her door. It is extremely influential Spanish speaking stations from Columbia and other foreign countries. (Just like Fox propaganda for white people)

Of Trump and republican signs every50 feet on both sides of US 1. Not ONE Biden sign until a couple days before the election and then those few were tiny and hidden amongst other huge Trump signs. I was starting to wonder if Trump and the republicans were running unopposed in Florida.

Debbie just said that we couldn’t do much because of the pandemic, but it sure didn’t stop the republicans! I called and volunteered to pass out signs and put up signs, but was told that no one paid attention to those anymore. I was asked to phone or text instead. Considering that I got at least 20 texts and calls a day, and it was starting to annoy ME, a hard line dem, I passed. Most of those texts were preaching to the choir anyway.

In years past, I used to be called to stand on the curb with signs on weekends, waving at passers by. This year there were no Dem people at my polling place, but at least 6 trump flag wavers.

Debbie said we’ve gotten lazy. Well I do agree with her on that one. Even when I volunteered, I was told to leave my number.

8. Around here, every time someone put up a Biden sign, a trumpanzee would come steal it.

This way it makes it "appear" that nobody is voting for Biden.

9. I saw that and I thought she was one of the few people that have added nuance to this discussion

She also mentioned businesses wanting to be opened. I agree a whole lot with that part and I've always thought that played a big part in some people's support of trump. I live in SWFL. Its a beach town. Lots of small businesses. Lots of these people depend on people coming into town for weekend get aways, vacations, etc for their incomes. My family is from Jamaica. My dad has been very irate at Haitian support for trump. He lives in GA. Lots of Haitian communities in FL . I tried to explain that to him. Immigrants in general are highly entrepreneurial. To have their businesses closed is a big deal. Now the solution to that, is get control of this virus. However, we have a governor here in FL who put politics ahead of people's health. There was not an effort to let people understand that it was not a choice between keeping your business or defeating the virus.

I work at a community mental health clinic, many of our clients work in the restaurant or entertainment industry. Many have lost their jobs as a result. Many worked for small businesses like I mentioned above. They support trump since they think shutting down the economy and their former employers going out of business was the wrong thing. Thats the messaging they have been getting.

So I appreciate the Former Rep for adding nuance to the conversation.
