Of course, since the corporations that make and sell the machines are donors to the GOP, no one ever responded to those complaints. NOW, when Trump has lost, his lawyers are regurgitating the same issues.
If there are problems with the voting machines and the tabulating systems as a whole, these issues cannot be addressed when the votes are being counted. They SHOULD BE ADDRESSED well before an election so that the machines can be swapped, modified, or accompanied by PAPER BALLOTS as a backup method of counting the votes-- at a minimum.
One of the reasons that hackable machines are less of an issue now is because the votes in many jurisdictions are backed up by other counting systems, including a paper trail. But it's still an issue.
