Oklahoma City Mayor Holt - The third wave has arrived.

Delivering a Come to Jesus statement in a virtual news conference now.

Since the beginning of November the number of new Covid cases has increased by 300%. OKC itself is seeing 57 new cases a day. (Mind you Oklahoma's Covid cases are, overall, gong through the roof).

1% of OKC residents have been exposed to Covid. If you are in a room with 25 or more people it is likely at least one person has Covid. The number of medical workers who have had to quarantine has substantially increased.

Took a shot at the Governor with his comment that some think that it is up to personal responsibility.

He is asking everyone to please take a 10 day break and consider what is going on in the hopes that we can get a sharp drop in the number of new cases. Asking companies to move their employees for the next 10 days. Please don't hold any in person meetings. Purchase take out orders to support the local restaurants. Do not meet your friends anywhere for at least the next 10 days.

He is pretty much begging people to please, just give him 10 days. Take precautions in all aspects of your life. Take a break from high risk activities.

This is the talk that Governor Stitt should have given.

The 1% is based upon the actual new cases. They don't really know how many have it only avebury Nov 2020 #6

Those two sentences don't seem to add up

Which I don't completely get, either. It may be better to google it.

I got the lowest passing grade* in Probability and Statistics 301 - and I was ecstatic! A "C" is a passing grade and about 1/3 of the class didn't pass.

* I knew because the grades were posted next to student IDs outside the math department.

those who went and got tested.

With regards to the 25 or more people he is probably trying to get across to you that there are probably more people who have it then have been tester.
