The US is failing the pandemic because Republican elected leaders won't have to face any backlash

from their voters. They don't care about Democratic voters at all, just their voters.

Trump, or no Trump, our democracy, our politics, and our government is fundamentally broken. Beyond even the repair of the election of Biden. President Biden will still have to deal with Republican governors who flat out ignore basic public health measures which could have saved lives.

We've moved beyond partisanship and are now in a full blown tribalist state. Even a major national health crisis cannot stop Americans from putting their political interests over their own lives.

1. Without accountability

things could continue to get worse rather than better. Somebody posted earlier that Rudy should have his law license revoked for lying. I posted that Ted Cruz also publicly "guaranteed" that the week after the election everybody would forget about COVID (because it was just politics). There should be serious consequences for deceiving the public. I don't know if Cruz's alma maters Princeton and Harvard or the ABA could do anything about his public treachery to save their own reputations. Somebody needs to.

2. Time to start shutting down state borders

3. Say it for what it is: They are Sociopaths / Psychopaths

People who have the power and responsibility to do something and don’t care that thousands of Americans are dying a day have no soul, no feeling.

There is the Democratic Party and then there is the Sociopath Party.
