Biden's meeting w/the Governors that he touted in his press conference today wasn't just productive

IMO, it was also one of the slickest moves that he could pull off during such a tumultuous time where he's getting no cooperation from Trump and the GOP. To me it seemed like Biden is saying fuck you to Trump and the GOP senators. If you won't work with me, I'll get things done with the people who WILL work with me, the governors of the states.

Major kudos to Biden and Harris for coming up with such a brilliant idea and pulling it off so successfully as they did today with that meeting and then lauding it all during their press conference. If Biden and Harris can't get it done one way, they will find another way to do it. Simple as that. So fuck you, McConnell and Graham. You will not stop them.

it makes more sense to work with the Governor than anyone else. They are more knowledgeable than senators or congress critters about what is happening on a statewide level. That it undercuts all the bs that Twitler and his cronies are pulling is the cherry on top.

Had a great discussion with President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris and fellow governors about the ongoing COVID response.

We look forward to a strong federal-state partnership and to working hand-in-hand in the months ahead.

But then again, I have gotten up every morning for about the last four years hoping he has shed this mortal coil. Every single morning. Biden and Harris will not let his tantrum go on and on.

Okay, the emoticon is not that important - the stroking out is biggly important though.

No, strike that. I am hoping for a reprise of mussolini's death. That goes from top of ticket to bottom of ticket, and followers. Redd Foxx (John Elroy Sandford) was awesome. The tRump assholes, et al, not so much.

Don't stop at the barricades and whine because they weren't left open for you. If the front door's bolted from the inside, just go around and find a side entrance, or the back door. Or a basement window. Or a forgotten fire escape. WHATEVER gets you in.

It was the states which did it all anyway - so all the real data is there (He is the pesident of the Governors association and probably came up with this)

...but has great optics.

What do you think the GOP reaction will be? Subtle pressure on the governors to not do this again? Overt pressure, where everyone gets to watch them step on their dicks? I can't imagine this went down well in those circles.
