Elon Musk was frustrated. He had been experiencing mild sniffles, a cough, and a slight fever--enough symptoms to convince him to get tested for Covid-19. Musk, who obviously has more resources and greater access to medical treatment than the average person, ended up taking a total of four tests (according to the story he shared on Twitter).
"Something extremely bogus is going on," Musk tweeted. "Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD."
The internet was quick to respond. Some reached out to Musk to see how he was feeling. Writer Stephen King simply replied, "You're pos." A scientist openly mocked Musk, calling him "Space Karen" and accusing the tech CEO of not reading up on the test "before complaining to his millions of followers."
But then something very interesting happened. Musk decided to reach out directly to an expert in the field of communicable disease (on Twitter, of course). What followed was a master class in communication, persuasion, and emotional intelligence.

(22,112 posts)1. This is how one deals w/ these kinds of questions, but of course, Mr. Musk is an exceptional person,
to hold up as an example of someone who will actually listen and then based on the presented facts, from the good doctor, and act upon them.
Others suffering from the trump virus wouldn't I think, listen to anyone, regardless of their credentials. Who knows, I could be wrong. If one life is saved, then that's a good thing, eh?

I wouldnt have the patience to deal with that libertarian fuckwit. Hopefully he learned something.

Did he mean "positive" or POS? lol!

It has a couple of links to the Twitter, but when I click on them it's not available to me.
Oh, well.
