reminds me of what was once said about the War Office in France WW1 when it came to hiding casualties.

Analogous to that War Office, Chump keeps 3 sets of COVID figures: one to mislead the public, one to mislead the Cabinet, and one to mislead himself.

1. He's too lazy to keep multiple books. He doesn't care, and minute-by-minute he just tells any lie

that suits his purpose. There are too many of these lies to keep up with, and his supporters pick-and-choose what they hear
