None. First, the judge handling the circuit is rarely the last stop. Also, they didn't change much.. Princess Turandot Nov 2020 #11

There's nothing there. They're all frivolous lawsuits.

Alito served on the 3rd Circuit before being elevated to SCOTUS.

But what this does show is the need for additional SCOTUS justices so only the CJ could have more than 1 circuit and he'd only be able to have the DC and the federal circuit.

She provided a valid link, verifying the information she posted, although she got to the crux of it in her tweet in a way that made the issue at hand more clear than the link would.

Anyway, other DUers above have pointed out that it's not anything to get our feathers ruffled over, so I have no regrets.

nothing, but looking to see who signed this order, I saw this person, Alice, seems to be followed, if that’s the right word, by trumpanzees.

Alito already had the 3rd Circuit, so PA didn't change. Thomas had the 11th, so Georgia didn't change. MI and WI just switched amid the Conservative justices.

Each Federal Circuit is assigned to a judge who initially handles emergency incoming matters. Whenever there is a change on the court, they redo these as necessary. Some justices may handle more than one circuit depending on activity volume.

The 2nd Circuit, btw, was assigned to the late Justice Ginsburg in the past. It is now covered by Sonia Sotomayor.

Here's the Supreme Court's page.

I'm reassured by what I've read above from various posters, but I hope Joe et al have a plan B and C, just in case.

This refers to Circuit Justices - each circuit has a "point person" on the Court. Circuit Justice is largely administerial, although they do take up emergency appeals.

Circuit Justices are often assigned to the circuit in which they sat as a circuit court judge, if they served as one. This reassignment was triggered by the change in justices. Sonia Sotomayor was moved from the 10th Circuit to the 2nd - filling RBG's old position in the circuit where she herself served. Neil Gorsuch takes over the 10th Circuit, Amy Barrett was assigned the 7th Circuit, where she previously served and there were a couple of other moves that are totally logical. The circuits containing Pennsylvania and Georgia did not change - Alito and Thomas were already the circuit justices for those courts.

This is not a big concern.
