A thought...

The elected Rethugs are playing the long game. They know not only that they can maintain the relationship with their base and at the same time they also know that “no one” will remember this two years from now. It’s how they roll. No culpability ever for their actions. We are still paying for Jimmy Carter’s rabbit or Obama’s tan suit. That’s forever,,,,

done best under Democrats. And plenty more -- civil rights, support of unions, etc. For the future -- affordable education, child care, Public Option, better unemployment benefits, improved safety net, jobs programs, etc.

Hopefully, a significant portion of voters who keep supporting GOPers will wise up.
