Me, no I really feel fine, just a little tired
GF, Damn it your pulse is 28
Me, Ok I’ll go

Now I’m stuck here in the university hospital and they just told me I’ll be here for some time. I don’t have time for this.

Her trick is to call everyone under the sun to get their opinion before going to the ER.

I assume they suspect COVID?

A couple of years ago was told I have AV-Block. Low pulse. It just got worse. In the last 6 months I’ve had 8 COVID test, all were negative.

ok, maybe 2 things to do: listen to your SO, she is trained and talented and cares for you.. you are lucky to have her, many of us are alone and would not have gone to seek care without the prodding of a loved one ...

A pulse of 28? Sounds like that's where you should be. Let them take care of you and get you well.

Had the new pacemaker put in yesterday and sent home with a big list of "can't do stuff".
Now looking forward to a long better life.
