(13,033 posts)Hope Susan Rice gets SoS.
Tony Blinken. He was Bidens NSA as VP, then got moved over to be deputy NSA for Obama, and then Deputy SoS. He's a great pick.

(1,654 posts)I' m so glad he is bringing back some state department people who were unceremoniously dumped. We are going to desperately need their institutional knowledge as we try to rebuild what was torn down almost 4 years ago. We have to get back the people who know how to turn the back on.

(34,195 posts)Some people here on DU have suggested it.
I've been following the news on this pretty closely and I did not see her name mentioned.

(53,026 posts)It wasn't just someone here who made it up. For example: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election-2020/biden-administration-hillary-clinton-un-ambassador-b1722378.html

(10,828 posts)Give the woman some peace. She deserves that at a minimum. And I don't think she has any desire to return to the public arena. Why would she?
Hillary Clinton can serve the country as a private citizen with a lot less harassment. I suspect she'll be considered one of the most consequential women of our era. But her time in public service is over.

(21,417 posts)a government position now. Just my perception. She has an admirable list of achievements - First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State, and first woman candidate for president. She has other activities that she is involved in, plus her family. I'm thinking she enjoys her life as it is.
