I have heard, multiple times this morning, that the Airlines are at their busiest since the pandamic started.

I honestly don't believe that all those travelers voted for Trump. Let's face it, people are just over the precautions, and they are assuming that wearing the mask will keep them safe.

Honestly, I am not as careful as I should be. I have been enjoying restaurants, breweries, etc. on occasion. We are careful to sit outside, and never go when it's busy, but I can tell you with 100% certainty, that there are a hell of alot of Democrats enjoying the restaurants, and breweries along with me. And most of them aren't staying outside either.

Since since i can't get my family members members to play it safe. The day i read them the riot act and started wearing a mask at home, my spouse was exposed to the same air space as her office mate who had been symptomatic for 3-4 days. Two days later, my daughter was exposed unmasked for several hours.

I'm currently getting my one mask break of the day. My spouse left for the day (yes, even though she was briefly exposed, and our daughter is still in quarantine at home), it's been more than an hour in my closed 100 as ft room running a .3 micron HEPA purifier. That makes it relatively safe to give my face a brief break. About to remask and emerge. Ugh. Can't wait for the 14 day quarantine to end so i can go back to my office, where no one enters unmasked, leaving me free to take off my mask for the several hours when no one is around.

My son just flew to Cali from PA. He has a 8 week break so he couldn’t realistically stay there. His flight was full with mostly college kids coming home for the long break. He’s been recently tested but spent hours at the airport and five hours on the plane. He said everyone was masked on his flight for what it’s worth.

Who told me to mind my own damn business about her thanksgiving feast for about 20, to make the point (via the 7 dead) that it was my business.

returned early for a Wedding in Ghent Minnesota. They infected 77 out of 284 persons in attendance at the reception that day. Knowing a few of the Families associated with the Ghent Celebration, the 77 infected, infected dozens more before they were tested.

results one week after that Wedding Reception and as our acquaintances in the area keep us updated, those 77 positives spread infections to seven Counties close by within a few weeks.

Worst part is,as the State and Local Health folks are doing Contact Tracings, people refuse to cooperate, even though they were in attendance.

Go Figger.

My social media timeline is filled with friends (some I'm sure are Democrats) out and about partying without masks including some of my nursing colleagues . I've not seen any critical care, ER or medsurg nurses engaging in risky behavior but it doesn't matter, we all should know better. I'm tired of wasting time arguing with them. I've even "unfriend" a few. People are just selfish.

I live in a town next to Sanford, this beast also caused a jail outbreak, a nursing home outbreak...all in the name of "Liberty"

The preacher and the plague

SANFORD — The wedding he presided over Aug. 7 triggered a cascading series of COVID-19 outbreaks that sickened at least 178 Mainers and killed at least eight, shut public schools, locked down a jail and helped push an entire county into an elevated state of alert. Nine of his own congregants got sick too, including his 78-year-old father and a child attending his vacation Bible school.

But on the evening of Oct. 7, the Rev. Todd Bell stood at the pulpit of the Calvary Baptist Church in Sanford, preaching without a mask with a group of young children from his Bible school seated shoulder to shoulder below him, almost all of them also maskless. When he finished, a barefaced assistant took his place and began singing, exhaling an invisible plume of droplets from his lungs to be broadcast around the room.

That’s when someone realized an internet livestream had been left open to the public and cut off the feed, drawing the curtains against the outside world.

This is from the "other Maine" where a pastor who was connected to this wedding decided it was a good idea to do his regular Sunday sermon. This is the area that gave Trump his one elector from the state of Maine.
