Anyone know of a Covid-19 positive person who refused to quarantine?

Last edited Mon Nov 23, 2020, 04:55 PM - Edit history (1)

Had one in my hometown who after being informed he was positive for the virus continued to go to work
and barhop after work. Kept up his daily routine until he couldn't get out of bed anymore. If contact
tracing shows someone died because of his selfcenteredness, should District Attorneys be allowed to
charge them with manslaughter/murder? And if there are cases like this pending in our court system,
shouldn't MSM be broadcasting this to the entire country to help virus deniers think twice about their
actions?

Edited to add, Yes he's a tRumper.

1. Not personally, but I only know two people who have tested positive.

Both are quarantining. However, I have heard of others who are not in quarantine. That, I believe, should be a criminal offense.

One wwnt to the dentist for lengthy elwctive surgery without even being tested! no plan to be tested.

Another was exposed at work in a school, immediately qas tested. Likely a highly-innacurate rapud test. Negative result. Right back to work & socializing. No plan to retest.

Your brother-in-law? Day care provider? Fishing buddy? Hairdresser? Yup. That's why the numbers are through the roof.

10. Do you want a public health answer, or a "public safety" answer?

"Public safety" being, of course, the white supremacist system that disproportionately targets BIPOC, the working class, the disabled and others on the margins through incarceration and punishment.

American woman could face up to 10 years in prison after allegedly spreading coronavirus during German bar crawl

An American woman could face up to 10 years in prison after allegedly spreading coronavirus during a bar crawl in Germany.

The unidentified 26-year-old woman faces accusations that she infected 59 people thus far after visiting multiple bars and pubs through the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, even though she was displaying symptoms related to Covid-19.

The woman was in Germany because she worked for a hotel resort for the United States forces stationed in Germany, according to reports.

Of the 59 confirmed infections allegedly from the woman, 25 of them are staff members who work with the American at the German resort.

US woman faces hefty fine after 'causing coronavirus outbreak in Bavaria'

Despite showing symptoms of the coronavirus, a 26-year-old US citizen allegedly went out partying in the Alpine resort of Garmisch thus starting a wave of infections in the town.

Local authorities said they were still unsure what consequence the woman should face.

"This must be investigated," said city spokesman Stephan Scharf on Sunday.

According to local authorities, she already had symptoms on her pub crawl and was waiting for the results of her corona test. In Bavaria, a fine of €2,000 can be imposed for violations of quarantine regulations.

Other sources mention fines totaling up to €10K. Most likely outcome is the highest fine, plus costs for testing, and maybe part of the treatment costs, plus legal fees.

Worst of all, perhaps, the Bavarian courts will slow roast her until they run out of paper.

He knew he was positive and went to 4/5 bars everyday. Law enforcement needs to start looking at
positive people in this country. Not for sure what they could or would do, but something needs to be
done. IMHO

your job...and no money...so people who have symptoms won't even get tested. Some have not considered that the cases of Covid rose when the Covid stimulus ran out.

15. Yes they should face consequences if they knowingly spread the virus

I found out today that the sister of a friend of ours has tested positive. He has since visited his sister knowing she has the virus thereby exposing his wife and two sons. He's getting tested but as far as I know isn't quarenteening. His sons are in and out of the house and acting like there's no pandemic. Their house is also a revolving door for the husband's and the kids friends. The wife is the only one behaving somewhat responsibly by staying home but she needs to put her foot down about visitors. She probably won't though. We haven't seen these friends since the beginning of the year and now I'm glad about that.
