Lamar Alexander...next best thing to no senator at all. In fact, he was always the next best thing to whatever job he had than nobody at all. I should know. I lived in Tennessee for 35 years.

It would have been easy for Trump to go out on a high note. Sign COVID relief for the nation, play the role of healer in chief... but noooooooooooooo. Instead we get the drug addled monkey screeching incessantly and flinging poo all over its own cage. Good grief.

I think he's the biggest asshole in the history of the world. That is not an easy feat.

I remember very well how you enabled Trump by voting to acquit him during the impeachment trial. That wasn't your final act, but history will remember how you and your republican partners allowed this country to be put under siege by a a fascist traitor. Alexander, you are so brave stepping up now that you have nothing to lose. You are pathetic and if I ever had a chance to do so, I would tell you that to your face.

While I agree that Lamar Alexander is something of a non-entity, he's one of five Senators that I can see jumping across the aisle at this point and caucusing with the Democrats, if we win the two Georgia Senate seats.
