Mary Trump gave the NYT internal Trump family documents proving massive tax fraud while Fred Trump was alive. The statute of limitations to collect the unpaid correct tax did not start until the IRS learned of the fraud, in the October 2018 NYT article, even tho the fraud took place decades ago. The heirs of Fred Trump can be required to return wealth they inherited from Fred if it is proved that Fred owed tax to the IRS. With interest and penalties the amount may be close to a billion dollars. New York State and city are similarly entitled to recover state and city taxes.

Donald Trump doesn't HAVE a billion dollars. At this point in time, if you were to use GAAP to evaluate Trump's net worth I believe half of DU (especially those of us whose houses are paid off) is richer than Donald Trump.

Given that Trump has no fucking money and all his real estate is leveraged to the max, the Supreme Court is going to have to decide how to liquidate his holdings. It won't be able to be a lower court because there are foreign governments involved and in those kinds of cases the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction.
