1. They gave their SSNs to a chat site? How stupid are these people!?
Oh that's right, they're MAGAts.

2. Isn't this unbelievable. Some brilliant DUer yesterday commented that these
fools who would give their SS#s to a chat site are the same people who refuse to give their phone numbers to contact tracers. Wish I could remember who it was so I could give them credit.

5. I joined just to check it out....
They didn't ask me for my SSN. The only information I gave them was an email that is not my primary one.

6. NO IT DID NOT...
Please don't base your responses on what another anonymous blogger writes.
PARLER users were NOT required to provide SSNs (I have an account, it only required a name and email address). The data breach had to do with Parler INFLUENCERS (the equivalent of Twitter "Verified Accounts".). |

8. That's apparently still a lot of idiots
Influencer Network Information. If you choose to join our influencer network, we may ask for
information that can be used to verify your identity, such as a copy of your government-issued photo identification, and information that can be used to facilitate the redemption of virtual items or payments, such as your Social Security number (SSN) or your tax identification number. We delete your government-issued photo identification information when it is no longer necessary to verify your identity. https://legal.parler.com/documents/privacypolicy.pdf |

10. That would make the Influencers even dumber than
the regular rubes on the site. Classic!

9. That's even better because it's their most influential users and probably some politicians too.
.
It thins out the herd of insignificant dolts and only concentrates on the key players. I'm just curious as to how they verify the SSN is accurate? What service or process does this? Do they do a no-impact credit pull? . |

7. Sounds like Parler was created by the "Alternate Deep State".
