Trolls

I’ve been in this group for several years, and I’m surprised that we have never encountered a true troll, someone who posts in order to provoke, mock or even to simply offer pro-Trump views. I find it strange because I see trolls invade all types of sites, on both sides of the political divide. Hell, I go into Parler myself to troll the cultists. Does anyone else find it odd ?

They used to do a lot of concern trolling, but less so now.
Trying to pit Democrats against each other is one of their tactics.

...both the error of their ways and the door. Despite the monotonous whine, we are not an echo chamber and we don’t “hate progressives,” and we don’t indulge in a ritual “two minute hate” of Bernie Sanders or AOC, we just disagree with some of what they say and do. That doesn’t make the rest of us mushy.

The TOS is clear: this site exists to support Democrats, Democratic officeholders, and Democratic candidates. We hold to core Democratic values, and people who claim to not understand what those may be are just (imo anyway) poking the bear. The TOS is explicit about homophobia, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism, and misogyny.

I don’t know when “Progressives” decided they were not really part of the Dem Party, but it was not us who said so. A number of DUers stick around despite this grievance. Others leave to find Utopia elsewhere.

Sorry, I got kind of wound up. Between starting this post, editing it, and finally finishing it, there were a lot of interruptions here at home, and for all I know this whole thread is kaput. We shall see.
