..this is 100% about Trump's trying to erase the Mueller report from history.

There are many secondary point, but 4 primary ones:
1. Flynn's original conduct in conducting a rogue foreign policy with our prime adversary before Trump was in office was deadly serious and absolutely required investigation. 2. His admitted lies about it to the FBI and Cong constituted a serious crime and a present threat that had to be eliminated. 3. His conduct since then in arrogantly denying guilt & putting the US on trial are the precise opposite of the accepted factors for a pardon, & this is 100% about Trump's trying to erase the Mueller report from history.

It's still here, as will be the contents of the Mueller report. Besides, the Mueller report barely covers his crimes, There's plenty more to get him on once he leaves office.

From what I understand, Leticia James has numerous cases ready to go. Other state AGs with Trump properties (IL, VA, NJ) will likely follow. I'm sure the House will be all over things, as well. And, now they can get any evidence they ask for, without interference from a corrupt AG. Most likely, Biden's AG will appoint a special prosecutor to look into matters. If he/she doesn't do it on their own, there will be tremendous pressure for them to do so.

...an admission of guilt? Also, since there is no risk of being prosecuted for his crimes, he then can be forced to testify, after Jan 20th, and prosecuted for obstruction if he refuses or is found to be lying yet again?

DU lawyers, what am I missing?
