(38,187 posts)The Trees of Doom Melania normally picks out. For them, this is as close to normal as we are going to get for Christmas. At least the tree doesn't look like something that would scare small children and adults alike.
Good grief, when you can slap handmaiden hats on a row of Christmas trees and honestly can't tell if she put them there or it was Photoshopped, that's not the person you want to decorate for any kind of festive holiday scene.
Everything with the Trumps is doom and gloom and fugly. They even managed to mismatch shades of gold and make gold ugly. That takes some doing.
I'm glad it just looks like a tree that won't uproot and swallow people whole, like Stephen Miller is hiding in there or something.

(10,132 posts)Given Mel's taste as seen in previous years, less is more.
When I was a kid growing up in upstate New York we used to bring the Christmas tree in a day or so before decorating it so the sap would thaw and the branches would spread out. Somehow I don't think this is the case here.
