You know, the ballot for the 2020 Presidential election. According to the tracking, it was mailed from the city clerk's office on October 6. Apparently, it was in PO limbo until 11/24, when it was forwarded to the address where I've been sheltering since the lockdown began in mid March.
I ended having to drive back home, (a 2 1/2 hour drive each way), so I could vote in person on Election Day.
I think it's a keeper.

(2,114 posts)Even in primaries and local elections. And I like voting in person so that I know my vote gets counted.

(4,286 posts)We just moved from CO to FL in early October but just missed the registration date. I kept waiting for our CO ballots to show up. When they didn't show up I checked the status and they were returned to the county clerk as undeliverable. I then changed our mailing address on our registration and called the county clerk. He was very nice and mailed them out. We were able to get them back just in time on November 2nd.
At least we were able to help Joe and Kamala win Colorado and retire Cory Gardner. I have no clue what's wrong with these f-ing people in Florida. We've got work to do here.
