Seems the DOJ has hired John Lott to run it's data department.

For those who don't know John, he wrote a book, "More Guns Less Crime" which made him the hero of gun nuts and muzzle fellaters who took everything in his book as gospel including his claim that guns are used to prevent violent crimes millions of times every year. Unfortunately for Mr. Lott the book has been thoroughly debunked. Lott's premise was that more guns in civilian hands decreased crime because, well, guns. The only problem was that the data Lott, a criminologist, used was largely made up. What wasn't made up was unverifiable, lacked controls for false positives and was basically a collection of anecdotes from people with a vested interest in justifying owning their guns. He even went so far as to create on-line personalities to praise his work. He lost his job over that.

Still, he is praised by 2nd Amendment absolutists today who somehow overlook his less than professional use of 'data' collected without verification of controls.

Just one more little impediment to Biden's agenda.

department, just that he will be a "senior advisor". One question is whether he was hired as a political hire, not someone who is a career professional.
