Love to see Sally Yates picked for Attorney General

Wicked smart and honest
Knows where the bodies are buried
Motivated to pursue justice wherever it goes
And to top it off, she’s from Georgia (a state that Trump once loved and now hates).

If DOJ goes after the Trumpers (Donny, family and friends), it wouldn’t look good politically to have the Department led by someone he fired. Which is a shame, because I think she would play it totally straight.

I want Doug Jones myself. He would be tough to deny confirmation too, and I think he would do a great job.

There will be accusations of bias which she would have to defend. On the other hand Republicans may be willing to confirm her knowing that she would be tainted in any further prosecution against Trump administration.

It would not be a smart nomination although I really love her.

What a great way for trump to disarm the department.

Tie our hands behind our back.

He is seasoned, has state AG experience, is a governor of a big state. His leadership through the pandemic has been solid. I think he handles himself very well.

I think given that he didn't run for president means that he may not be interested in being president, which I think would be a bigger plus.
