We Told You So
We told you Trump-humpers that we’d had enough of your lying, corrupt Dear Leader, and were determined to oust him from office.
We told you we were fully united in our determination to achieve that goal.
We told you that we were taking every opportunity to register new Democrats, and making every effort to get out the vote.
We told you that we would vote regardless of every obstacle put in our path – from DeJoy slowing down the mail, to drop-boxes being removed – and we did so. Many of us risked exposure to a deadly disease rather than have our ballots go uncounted.
We told you that the majority of decent, moral Americans were committed to ridding the nation of a madman whose only interest was himself – the man who went golfing while hundreds of thousands of Americans died due to his incompetence and total disregard for the well-being of the country and its citizens.
Not only did we tell you what was happening – the polls told you throughout the campaign that Biden’s lead over Trump was steadily growing across the country.
And yet, when Joe Biden won the election – as had been predicted, and as the result of a united majority that spared no effort or expense to elect him – you stood there slack-jawed, literally stupefied by the outcome you would have seen coming if you’d paid any attention whatsoever to reality.
We told you so – but you never heard us. That’s because you were busy watching FOX-News et al, where you were told repeatedly that Trump would win in a landslide according to their ‘political analysts’ and Trump’s ‘internal polls’. They told you that the Democrats were divided and in disarray, and that your Dear Leader would easily defeat the ‘worst candidate in history’.
So here’s a heads-up for future reference: Get you heads out of your asses. Try paying attention to facts instead of the fantasies you are being spoon-fed by ‘news’ outlets that do nothing but catapult right-wing propaganda.
Read a god-damned newspaper once in a while. Get your facts from reputable sources, instead of from your neighbour’s cousin’s son-in-law who listens to Rush Limbaugh and knows what’s what.
Biden’s victory was foretold by polls that queried actual voters about their political preferences and intentions – and the election played out as predicted. The fact that you were blindsided by the propaganda you chose to believe instead is a testament to your own stupidity, your own ignorance of the facts – and, above all, your own gullibility.
