The first votes have been counted in New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary, and the biggest vote getter could portend bad new for the Republican presidential field: President Obama.
Dixville Notch, tiny village in the northern part of the state is the first to cast its votes in the first-in-the-nation primary a tradition that dates back to 1960.
The tradition continued just after midnight Tuesday. Of the nine registered voters three Republicans, two Democrats and four independents the incumbent president secured three votes. The top vote getters on the Republican side were former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who enjoys a big lead here in the polls, and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman both of whom received two votes.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep. Ron Paul, of Texas, each garnered one vote.
