White House Security official Crede Bailey-- diagnosed in Sept with Covid, "gravely ill"

Not a word about him from the White House in all this time, and in fact, Jared Kushner has been bragging that WH staffers who have had it have been fine.

Well, apparently this staffer is in need of aid and isn't getting it from the White House or the supposed billionaire in there.

Mr. Bailey's friends have had to set up a GoFundMe to help modify his home for his new disability, and also pay his massive medical bills (weeks in ICU).

It's very sad, and infuriating that he was exposed to this dread disease by the Trump administration's hateful negligence and defiance.

I thought federal health insurance was better than that. And what are his employment prospects , now that he's disabled?

Dems, Libs. . . well anyone with a heart pays the "Go Fund Me" tax when we have to contribute to the under or uninsured. This does not have to be this way !

9. Is he an actual federal employee or one of Trump's many "aides"

If the former, shouldn't he have medical coverage? However, reading Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's book on Melania it seems that are a number of staff members who aren't formally employed by the US (the author was one of them - a volunteer who also paid her own expenses): if Crede Bailey is one of these he's probably on his own now.

He's no longer an exploitable asset to Diaper Don, the Dainty Digited Dotard. So, off to the dustbin with another covfefe boy.

And they should have good insurance, but there are always so many extra expenses, and probably limited sick time. If he's used up his sick time-- well, it's infuriating because he probably got the disease there at work! But he might not be paid anymore.

Anyway, apparently there was an amputation (I saw that in one of the comments)-- his foot-- and that's why they have to do modifications of the house. It's just terrible, and it's that terrible Trump and his nasty lackeys who let this happen.

I saw some intimations that some of the housekeeping staff were infected, and that a couple haven't recovered well.

16. How can White House staff not have good health coverage?

You can make a great case that everyone in the country should have good health coverage, of course, but just for appearance`s sake alone.

Terrible, terrible optics...let alone the lack of basic human decency. I bet that poor man has hospital bills running into 7 figures.
