If Rs can win on a platform of "pwning the libs", why can't we do the same?

Why must we always be about reaching across the aisle, unity, reconciliation, etc?

For once, I'd like our side to act like them *in just this one respect*: blatant disregard for how the right thinks, feels, and ZERO compromise.

I wonder how that might work out? Probably loads better than many expect. Like when finally confronting a bully. There's usually a surprise.

Probably have to wait til somebody makes a movie about such a fictional alternate reality to see what it'd look like, though.

The same way blatantly fake news doesn't work on liberals.
Our ability to critically think and use reason makes us look
at issues from multiple points of view, weighing the pros & cons.
If a rogue Republican supported income equality, civil rights, and affordable
healthcare I could vote for them. The current Republican rank & file will
vote to cut their own throats if the libs are against throat cutting.
Their reactions are tribal and knee jerk.

If nothing changes, then we'll stay the course towards massive income inequality.

Generally speaking, conservatives can accomplish much of what they want with executive actions while liberals need legislation.

So the burden falls on the progressives to try to get a quorum together. That's really the gist of it.

We can’t even agree on whether or not it’s okay to call a senator the name the male escorts he uses call him. And there was a thread last week about how it was insensitive to make fun of Dump’s adult diapers. So no, I don’t see any chance that would be possible.

I kept messaging him articles on Facebook to disprove his theories. I was told I was uninformed and being told lies. My last troll was a picture of two toy troll dolls representing his uncle and I. It feel good to push back on a MF45er supporter.
