Ohio state government has been in tight control by the Republicans for some time. The state General Assembly has 24 of 33 senators Repukican, and the House 61 Repukes to 38 Democrats. The last Speaker of the House should be going to prison for corruption with an electrical utility, he resigned the speakership, but kept his seat. A couple of years back another speaker was caught in corruption by the FBI, previous two term governor Taft pleaded guilty in court while in office. The Repukes have had a long strangle hold on everything.

There has been noise that Gym Jacket off Jordan wants to be governor, and crooked businessman Renacci (former Congressman, and failed senatorial candidate is interested. There is a divide with very partisan Repukes, and batshit crazy ultra partisan Repukes.

Trumpers all around. Fuck them. This state badly needs an alternative to these mouth-breathing shitbags.

I thought DeWine did well at the start until he started to cave to the Republicans and MAGAts.
