What it'll mean if a President is allowed to pardon others for his own gains

He and his family and associates can be above the law , and he bypasses judges and justices abilities to enforce the rule of law against anyone a president wants to commit crimes at will without consequences, for him, and as a payoff for them. It makes it so they can escape justice , and this will only attract more criminals to run for office. When this is challenged, his pardons for others involved with him and crimes will be overturned, and will again show he can't pardon himself or others for his own personal and financial benefit. If allowed it makes him and any crimes he commits, and with the help of others acceptable, and could escalate to many people in a criminal organization to rule , and control our government unchecked. Like putin has done in russia.
