That's very insulting to the President because it puts him on a par with a dim bulb like Perry.

Obama knows exactly how and when to stick the knife in. He missed a golden opportunity to do so last night.

IMHO, the GOP missed a big opportunity by not nominating Perry.

Not that he'd do any better than Romney, but he is more representative of their base, and he is infinitely more human.

They got robbed, and by not having a genuine conservative running, they'll only think they need to do it next time.

It was after a debate and the newsperson asked "Are you calling Gov Romney a liar". Newt simply said yes. I think it can be effective if it's used right. Pound him on all the lies from last night (and the ones surely to come) and a week before the election put out an ad that says "even republicans think he can't tell the truth".
