Bill Barr resigned

?s=20

Just had a very nice meeting with Attorney General Bill Barr at the White House. Our relationship has been a very good one, he has done an outstanding job! As per letter, Bill will be leaving just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family...

?s=20

...Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen, an outstanding person, will become Acting Attorney General. Highly respected Richard Donoghue will be taking over the duties of Deputy Attorney General. Thank you to all!

about the no fraud in the elections.

I think Barr is running to prevent more personal damage, he knows that the bus comes around every day and trump will be ready to throw him under as many times as he can.

And I agree that the buffoon did not write that tweet, it is too eloquent to have come out of his putrid head.

I just hope Barr gets investigated, and that the Muller report is made public in its entirety.

That a possible scenario is Trump wanted Barr to indict Biden.

Barr refused, so Trump will have Rosen do so.

Though it will be obvious bullshit, Pence will use it as an excuse to not confirm Biden.

In which case all holy hell will break loose.

I think this is Billy's way of trying to distance himself from the sour fart lingering in the Oval Office. We saw what you did, Bill. There's no rehab, no coming back, from this one. Get your sinecure at some right wing welfare outlet, and spend the rest of your days in bitter resentment that the apex of your career was convincing lame duck George H.W. Bush that his dead-of-night pardons of Caspar Weinberger and five others was a worthwhile idea.

It's just for show so Barr can save face when he goes out on interviews. He should just retire now anyway, he's poison.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/12/politics/william-barr-donald-trump-white-house-meeting/index.html

(CNN)President Donald Trump raised the prospect of firing Attorney General William Barr in a meeting on Friday, but it's unclear whether he'll choose to dismiss Barr before the end of his term next month.

A person familiar with the matter told CNN that Trump was furious in the meeting with advisers at the White House that Barr had worked to keep the federal investigation into Hunter Biden's taxes from becoming public before the November election.

Trump was also upset at reports Barr was considering departing the administration before January 20, believing the leaks to be self-serving.

...

Trump spent Saturday morning issuing angry tweets about his attorney general -- in one instance, sharing a tweet that encouraged firing Barr by the "end of business today." But Trump spent the better part of a year fuming about Barr's predecessor, Jeff Sessions, before firing him, so it's far from clear whether his anger will manifest in an immediate dismissal.

I think he resigned over Trump's anger about the holding back of Hunter Biden's investigation news. After Trump indicated that he would fire him before the end of the day over the weekend, anyone could see this coming.

Trump had the stupid notion that he could repeat the tactics used in 2016. So, he blamed Barr for not acting like Comey did. But, it doesn't matter, because Trump's been fired, too.

Good riddance to both of them.
