Well Hell

Definitely got exposed to covid yesterday. Can't get tested yet. Guess I will just sit here and pound sand for a bit.

FFS! We are 10 months into this shit and there is no standard operating procedure on what to do!

I am glad I have DU because I know I can get good instruction here.
I don't trust my Trumper employers who took 5 months to supply masks and even longer to supply sanitizer. They will not allow us to enforce mask wearing at our location. But you can bet that they enforce it in the home store where they stay. We don't even have those plexiglass barriers up on our countertops.

How can something be avoidable and inevitable at the same time? Life in Trumpland.
It sucks.

ALOT.

I am pissed. I have not seen my grandchildren for 8 months and now Christmas is probably out.

These fascist ass clowns think they are pissed about the election? Nonono. They are nothing. If pissed was people, I'd be China.

I really hope you all are having a better day than I am.

That truly sucks. My friend has Covid now and I am really worried. Christmas is just a week away and I am not in the spirit at all.

6. Hugs. Just stay in. Take Vitamin d3 and Zinc.

Hope for the best.

I hope it was just a chance encounter and not enough exposure to make you sick. Hang in there!

And do take Zinc. I never really believe in anything, but I have to say, whenever I've felt a cold coming on lately, I take zinc, and the cold never takes hold. I used to get awful colds, but zinc actually seems to help.
And a lot of colds are coronaviruses.
Couldn't hurt anyway, and Vitamin d3 is also supposed to help ramp up the immune system.

The federal response under T has been nothing short of neglient. I'm sorry. I hope you will be okay.

10. Too soon, isn't it. If exposed just yesterday.

Unlikely to be producing detectable amounts for several days, especially for the CVS test.

11. Testing that early after exposure isn't going to be accurate.

That's a mistake a lot of people make, they get tested right after the exposure, test comes back negative, and they think they are in the clear.

9. Zinc. I would not delay, I would not want to be deficient

Like fighting viruses with arms tied behind your back, if zinc-deficient.
And most older people are zinc-deficient.
Not suggesting that you exceed standard recommended amounts. But if you aren’t taking any zinc now, I suggest getting some immediately and don’t miss a day.

Hope you dodged it. Your employer sucks.
